Your Role

  • As a Architectural Designer at Gensler ́s you must actively participate in all phases of the design process. Innovative thinking balanced with the ability to present realworld technical solutions to new design challenges. Must thrive with personal responsibility and accountability but embody and embrace open communication and teamoriented success.
  • You are a passionate professional who combines creativity, technical knowledge, and business skills to produce functional and beautiful spaces for clients. With exceptional design skills and a background in architecture, you will contribute as an integral member of the design team, actively participating in conceptual thought processes and design exploration.
  • What You Will Do
  • Support the Design Director in the creation and development of overall design concepts.
  • Formulate design presentation strategies.
  • Provide creative and process leadership to multiple design teams through all project phases.
  • Support project design and delivery, working with design and technical directors.
  • Participate in and lead conceptual design, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and production.
  • Collaborate with the design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies, and vendors to achieve project objectives.
  • Oversee and deliver documents with design intent and topnotch technical quality.
  • Select and research building materials and generate material specifications.
  • Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs.
  • Establish and maintain productive client relationships.
  • Fulfill other assigned responsibilities.


 Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Architecture, Interior Architecture, or foreign equivalent
  • 6+ years of project experience in an architectural practice
  • Proficiency in REVIT, Sketch Up, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office
  • 100% bilingual English/Spanish, well written, with excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures
  • Construction documentation and/or design detail development experience
  • Strong leadership, communications, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with tact, grace, and emotional intelligence
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Has the ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new client relation
  • Additional software skills in AutoCAD, 3d Max, Illustrator, Rhino, Grasshopper, and Autodesk Certified are a plus
