Essential duties & responsibilities:
- Perform Account Reconciliation for assigned entities.
- Investigate and resolve unsupported balances.
- Provide support to business on request related to journal/recon backups.
- Escalate any unusual activity or aged items to management which enables a proactive response to potential risks and related losses.
- Financial Statement analysis.
- Prepare journal entries calculations.
- Perform month end closing process and any request as necessary
- Comply with Corporate accounting policies, US and local GAAP.
- Performs other related work to accounting cycle.
Education & special trainings:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or related field
- MS Office Suite
- Intermediate excel level (pivot table, formulas, charts)
- Fluent spoken and written English and Spanish.
- SAP, Oracle or QAD systems knowledge is a big plus
Qualifications & experience:
- 23 years of relevant working experience in a finance/accounting function in matrixed international company (preferably American or Multinational company) with complex reporting practices and with exposure to various reporting systems
- Experience of working in a shared service center across a global /large organization will be an added advantage
Physical & mental requirements:
- Ability to work well with crossfunctional teams and multitask
- Versatile, motivated, creative, intellectually curious, a good communicator and collaborator
- Demonstrated ability to perform consistently under varying business pressure as well as ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment
- Computer or technical knowledge
- Effective problemsolving skills
