The world needs more Intrepid people:

As the Deputy Operations Manager for Intrepid Travel, you will support the management of daily operations, including the recruitment, training, and performance of tour leaders. You will also be responsible for monitoring and implementing Intrepid's safety standards, code of conduct, and responsible travel policies across the Central America region.

Working collaboratively with Reservations, Product, Contracting, Sales, Customer Care, and Global Operations, you will help drive group profitability and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. In addition, you will support various administrative tasks to assist the Operations team.

This is a Full-Time Permanent Position that will operate on a hybrid basis out of our office in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Some of the experience you'll bring with you may include:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or tourism.

  • 1+ years working on management coaching / training experience.

  • 2+ years in administrative tasks using Microsoft 365.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) in both English and Spanish.

  • Reliable with outstanding organizational skills.

  • Problem solving and decision making.
