**PHP Web Developer (Mid
- level)**

Lionbridge Technologies is looking for an intermediate level Web Developer to work as part of our team embedded in Cisco Systems Inc.'s internal Brand agency, The Hatch.

As an intermediate level Web Developer for this client program, you'll be expected to demonstrate your creativity and passion for coding to solve technical challenges while working independently on lower complexity tasks, or while shadowing and working under the guidance of more experienced developers. Your main tasks will focus on PHP development using also JQuery, HTML5, CSS3 (SASS), Bootstrap, and a variety of JavaScript libraries, however, you will have the opportunity to learn or increase knowledge on different front and back-end technologies, languages, and frameworks, including but not limited to NodeJS and Angular IO.

This role reports into the Lionbridge Costa Rica Regional Lead and the Cisco program Tools & Tech Services Manager. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams across different regions, including Lead Developer, designers, and stakeholders.

**Your day-to-day activities will include**:

- Match functionality to stakeholder requirements through the most appropriate technical solutions.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and internal development and design teams to meet client objectives.

**To be successful you should possess**:
**Technical skills - Must have**
- Min of 3 years of experience in a digital technical field.
- Experience with PHP server-side language
- Basic experience with WAMP stack development
- Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3 (SASS), Bootstrap
- Comfortable with JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as jQuery
- Familiar with best practices for user experience and responsive design
- Knowledge of repository platforms such GitHub.

**Communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have**
- Upper intermediate written and oral communication (English B2+ or above)
- Detail oriented with problem-solving abilities, accountability, and can-do attitude.
- Willing to continue to learn from other experienced programmers through shadowing or from own intellectual curiosity.

**Nice to have**
- Basic understanding of MEAN
- Knowledge of React framework.
- Understanding of continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins.
- Familiar with client consumption APIs such as RESTful, and SOAP.
- Understanding of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Aware of SEO best practices, web analytics, and technology trends applied to social network tools.
- Familiar with database engines and query language such as MongoDB and MySQL.
