**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Transaction Coordinator to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our banking operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely processing of financial transactions.
About the Role:
This is a critical role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. You will be responsible for reconciling bank accounts, supporting the monthly closing process, and resolving customer requests in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile bank accounts to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Support the monthly closing process by fulfilling all established tasks and deadlines.
- Resolve customer requests in a timely and professional manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Develop knowledge of company systems and platforms to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Follow up on pending credits and provide visibility to Collections to meet defined KPIS.
- Provide timely visibility to senior analysts or leaders on difficult or doubtful cases before processing them.
- Process card payments while considering exceptions and obtaining proper approval when necessary.
- Assist with internal or external audits by compiling support for requested samples.
- Participate in updating position manuals or process support documentation as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose solutions and best practices.
- Provide support and training to new hires as required.

What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
