Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Project Director to lead our project management team in Sysco Costa Rica. In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple medium-high complexity projects, delivering approved business functionality within time, cost, and quality constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your extensive experience in project management to drive delivery within the team, creating long-term plans, setting targets for milestones, and allocating resources effectively.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and dependent projects to develop detailed project schedules, defining project activities and phases, critical dates/milestones, and duration estimates.
  • Manage technical and business analyst tasks, monitor and control multiple aspects of approved projects throughout their lifecycle, including change request management, issue management, risk management, and status reporting.
  • Establish and agree upon quality indicators for processes and outputs, aligning with relevant stakeholders and referencing the business case.
  • Conduct regular reviews to evaluate business case alignment, management processes, progress towards outputs (in terms of time, cost, and quality), stakeholder relationships, final outcomes, and realization of benefits.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of project management experience in a similar role.
  • Fundamental knowledge of broad technology solutions, including cyber security, infrastructure & networking, HR/payroll, ERP, finance, and other related areas.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile or Prince 2.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certifications like CAPM/PMP or similar certifications preferred.

  • Adaptability, flexibility, and resilience in responding to project adjustments, unexpected events, and changing requirements.
  • Ability to analyze wants, needs, and constraints, and use analysis to specify requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure effective collaboration with stakeholders and team members.

About Sysco Costa Rica:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience, plus additional benefits and perks.
